Escorts Kubota Limited, a leading player in agricultural machinery and construction equipment, has announced the expansion of its Digitrac range under the Powertrac brand with the launch of three new tractor models. With this development, the Digitrac portfolio grows from two to five models, establishing it as a comprehensive series in the 45–55 HP category, designed for advanced farming and heavy haulage applications.

The expanded Digitrac series will be available across India, further strengthening Escorts Kubota’s multi-brand strategy. The company operates three tractor brands—Kubota, Farmtrac, and Powertrac—catering to premium, entry-premium, and value segments respectively. The Digitrac series is positioned within Powertrac, targeting new-age farmers seeking a blend of performance, style, and affordability.

This marks Escorts Kubota’s fourth major tractor introduction since February 2025, following the launch of the Farmtrac Promaxx series, Kubota MU4201, and Powertrac Shaurya paddy series. The company’s consistent rollout of new products reflects its focus on strengthening its portfolio and enhancing its market presence in India.

The existing Digitrac models—PP 46i and PP 43i—have already established a strong foothold in the market, contributing significantly to Powertrac’s sales. Known for their contemporary design and premium aesthetics, these models have resonated particularly well with young and aspirational farmers.

The newly launched models include the Digitrac PP 46i 4WD, Digitrac PP 43i Plus, and Digitrac PP 41i. Across the series, all five models are equipped with advanced features such as higher capacity engines, larger tyres, side-shift gear mechanisms, and a 12 forward plus 3 reverse constant mesh gearbox. Additional highlights include independent power take-off (iPTO) and a robust hydraulic lifting capacity of up to 2,000 kg, enabling compatibility with a wide range of modern farm implements including Super Seeders, Reapers, reversible MB ploughs, and laser levellers.

Commenting on the launch, Nikhil Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director of Escorts Kubota Limited, stated that the company’s sustained pace of product introductions reflects its strategic direction and commitment to strengthening its portfolio. He noted that each launch is a focused step toward achieving a stronger position in the Indian tractor market.

Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director, added that Digitrac has built a distinct identity with its modern design and strong appeal among progressive farmers. Expanding it into a full series is a natural progression that will enable the company to scale the brand further and enhance its contribution to the Powertrac business.

Neeraj Mehra, Chief Officer, Tractor Business Division, highlighted that the expanded Digitrac series brings advanced features typically found in higher horsepower segments into the 45–55 HP category. With its positioning centered on performance and style, the series aims to make advanced tractor capabilities more accessible while maintaining the fuel efficiency and value associated with Powertrac. The Digitrac series is now available through authorised Powertrac dealerships across India.

With over 80 years of engineering excellence, Escorts Kubota Limited continues to deliver innovative solutions across agriculture and construction. Through its diverse portfolio and extensive distribution network, the company remains committed to driving productivity and supporting India’s growth in both rural and infrastructure sectors.
