Eaton Appoints Binod Muni as Managing Director for Electrical Business in India

Eaton, a global power management company, has announced the appointment of Binod Muni as Managing Director of its Electrical business in India, effective January 1, 2026. He takes over from Syed Sajjadh Ali, who retired on December 31, 2025, after 17 years of leadership that played a key role in building and expanding Eaton’s Electrical business in the country.

Binod Muni brings more than 27 years of experience spanning sales, business development, and finance. In his new role, he will lead Eaton’s Electrical operations in India, with responsibility for business growth, market expansion, product introductions, technology localization, operational performance, and supply chain strength. He will also focus on developing talent and building a strong leadership team to support long-term growth.

Binod Muni joined Eaton in August 2024 as Country Head – Sales and Marketing. Before joining the company, he held senior leadership roles at several multinational organizations, including Saint-Gobain, Carrefour, and Schneider Electric.
