Dynamatic Technologies Limited has announced the readiness for delivery of the first complete ship-set of all eight doors for the Airbus A220 aircraft, marking a major milestone for India’s aerospace manufacturing sector. The ship-set includes main passenger doors, service doors, cargo doors, and overwing emergency exit doors, all produced at Dynamatic’s Bengaluru facility.
The achievement highlights India’s growing capability in advanced aerostructure manufacturing and reinforces the country’s role within Airbus’ global supply chain. The delivery was completed ahead of schedule and forms part of the broader “Make in India” initiative.
A formal handover ceremony was held at Dynamatic’s Bengaluru facility in the presence of Samir Kumar Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation; Piyush Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor; Jürgen Westermeier, President and Managing Director, Airbus India and South Asia; and Dr Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and Managing Director, Dynamatic Technologies Limited, along with representatives from Airbus and Dynamatic.
Speaking at the event, Samir Kumar Sinha said the delivery of the complete A220 door ship-set reflects India’s ability to manufacture complex aerospace components for global programmes and is a significant moment for the country’s aviation ecosystem.
