Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan formally opened the new AI Innovation & Incubation Centre at DPS RK Puram, New Delhi—a pioneering school-level platform designed to integrate AI, cloud technologies, and applied research into everyday learning. Built through a collaboration with VVDN Technologies and Google Cloud, the centre marks a major step toward reshaping how students engage with technology, fostering curiosity, creativity, and responsible digital innovation. By bringing industry-grade tools into the classroom, the initiative aims to narrow the gap between academic learning and real-world technological applications.
At the heart of the centre is access to Google Cloud’s advanced AI ecosystem, including platforms such as Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, along with skilling programs like Google Cloud Skills Boost. VVDN Technologies is enriching the learning environment with hands-on exposure to humanoid and companion robots, AR/VR devices, IoT kits, and Raspberry Pi systems. Beginning from Class 6, students will follow a structured four-tier AI curriculum that spans foundational concepts to advanced machine learning and generative AI. The facility also serves neighbouring and government schools, offering shared access to tools, mentorship, hackathons, and workshops. Teachers receive dedicated training in AI, cloud education, and ethical technology use to ensure strong guidance for learners. VVDN’s engineering and robotics expertise combined with Google Cloud’s digital infrastructure forms the backbone of this forward-looking educational ecosystem.
Anil Kumar, Principal, DPS RK Puram: “This centre represents a shift toward future-ready learning, empowering students to innovate, build, and think responsibly in alignment with NEP 2020’s vision of experiential and multidisciplinary education.”
Vivek Bansal, President & Co-Founder, VVDN Technologies: “Our partnership reflects a shared mission to give students early access to real-world technologies, encouraging them to develop an innovator’s mindset and contribute to India’s technology-driven growth.”
Ashish Wattal, Country Director, Public Sector, Google Cloud India: “By equipping students with platforms like Gemini Enterprise and next-generation agentic AI tools, we aim to support their capability to harness AI’s full potential and advance India’s digital progress.”
