Copeland, a global supplier of compression technologies and control solutions, has entered into an agreement to acquire Bueno Analytics, an Australia-based company offering software-as-a-service solutions that apply artificial intelligence and machine learning to building analytics, energy management, and operational performance across commercial buildings and cold chain environments. Bueno’s platform is currently deployed across thousands of customer sites worldwide, providing system connectivity, portfolio-level visibility, and actionable operational insights.

Commercial buildings and cold chain infrastructure account for a significant portion of global energy consumption and emissions. By combining Bueno’s analytics platform with Copeland’s application expertise, the companies aim to deliver expanded capabilities such as predictive maintenance, energy optimisation, refrigerant leak detection, workforce efficiency tools, and advanced performance analytics. The integrated offering is intended to help customers identify energy-saving opportunities, improve reliability, and manage facilities more effectively.

As customers increasingly rely on data-driven services to reduce downtime, manage energy use, and extend equipment life, the acquisition strengthens Copeland’s aftermarket portfolio with an analytics-led solution focused on measurable performance improvement. The addition of Bueno’s technology supports Copeland’s broader strategy to enhance digital services while helping customers meet operational and sustainability objectives.

Ross B. Shuster, Chief Executive Officer of Copeland, said the combination brings together Copeland’s technology portfolio, customer relationships, and global reach with Bueno Analytics’ established platform and technical expertise. He added that the collaboration will enable customers to use data more effectively to improve operations and lower their environmental impact.

Hugh Amoyal, Chief Executive Officer of Bueno Analytics, said joining Copeland creates new opportunities to expand the platform’s reach and deepen its impact. He noted that integrating Bueno’s technology with Copeland’s global capabilities will help customers better manage energy use and improve building performance.

Leon Wurfel, founder of Bueno Analytics, added that the partnership will allow continued investment in research and development, supporting faster emissions reduction and addressing evolving sustainability requirements.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of calendar year 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Until completion, Bueno Analytics will continue to operate independently.

Copeland is a global leader in compression technologies and control solutions, with an installed base exceeding 200 million units worldwide. The company serves heating, ventilation and air conditioning, cold chain, and industrial markets. With more than a century of engineering experience and approximately 18,000 employees across over 40 countries, Copeland supports customers in improving efficiency, advancing energy transitions, and protecting high-value perishable goods through reliable and innovative technologies.
