Celonis, a global leader in process intelligence, has announced a successful collaboration with Molex to accelerate digital transformation and enable scalable enterprise AI across Molex’s global supply chain. Through the implementation of the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, Molex has achieved enhanced visibility into its complex supply chain operations, which involve sourcing approximately 70,000 components from thousands of suppliers worldwide. Previously hindered by fragmented data and manual processes, Molex has now transformed its operations into a dynamic digital twin, enabling real-time insights and continuous process optimization.

The collaboration has delivered significant business outcomes, including improved purchase order confirmation rates from 30% to 90%, 87% touchless invoice processing through automation, and a 10–15% increase in warehouse efficiency. By identifying root causes of inefficiencies and eliminating bottlenecks, Molex has built a strong foundation for AI-driven decision-making.

MJ Patil, Director of Process Excellence at Molex, described process intelligence as central to the company’s digital transformation and AI strategy. He noted that the platform provides the necessary context for AI systems to make informed, real-time decisions, replacing siloed data with a unified operational view.

Tony Gainsford, Senior Director of Supply Chain at Molex, emphasized the value of real-time process visibility, comparing Celonis’ capabilities to advanced diagnostic tools that provide a complete end-to-end view of enterprise operations.

Alex Rinke, co-CEO and co-founder of Celonis, stated that Molex exemplifies how organizations can unlock the full value of AI by grounding it in process intelligence. He highlighted that this approach enables companies not only to resolve operational challenges but also to fundamentally transform how they operate.

Looking ahead, Molex plans to expand its use of Celonis across additional functions, including order-to-cash, logistics, and manufacturing processes. By leveraging the Process Intelligence Graph, the company aims to standardize best practices across its global operations and prepare for the next phase of AI innovation.

Powered by process mining and AI, the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform combines process data with business context to create a dynamic digital twin of operations. It helps organizations gain a clear view of how their processes truly function and empowers them, along with their partners, to design intelligent solutions that drive transformation and ongoing improvement—unlocking significant value. Celonis is headquartered in Munich, Germany, and New York City, USA, and operates from more than 20 offices around the globe.
