Capgemini Partners Bentley Motors to Advance Digital Transformation Strategy

Capgemini has announced a strategic collaboration with Bentley Motors to accelerate the luxury automobile manufacturer’s digital transformation programme, leveraging data, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced technology platforms to support Bentley’s long-term Beyond100+ strategy.

As Bentley’s digital transformation partner, Capgemini will deliver the digital infrastructure and systems integration required to modernise manufacturing operations and strengthen enterprise-wide technology capabilities. The engagement will support the evolution of Bentley’s Dream Factory in Crewe, UK, into a highly digital, sustainable and hyper-personalised manufacturing hub for luxury vehicles.

The partnership focuses on enhancing Bentley’s digital ecosystem by integrating manufacturing technology with core business processes while strengthening data management and AI capabilities across the organisation. The initiative is expected to simplify technology architecture, establish clearer ownership of enterprise data, improve operational visibility and enable faster, data-driven decision-making.

Capgemini will also help Bentley build a stronger digital foundation to support future business growth and improve agility in an evolving automotive landscape. The collaboration is designed to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows and create a more connected technology environment for employees and business functions.

As part of the engagement, Capgemini will introduce advanced analytics and AI capabilities to provide deeper customer and commercial insights, enabling more effective sales, marketing and campaign planning. The company will also modernise IT service operations by moving beyond conventional support models to deliver reliable, user-focused technology services that enhance the employee experience.

In addition, Capgemini will establish robust data architecture and intelligence capabilities to support faster business decisions, improve product development and strengthen digital innovation across Bentley’s operations. The programme also includes initiatives focused on cost optimisation, enterprise-wide digital modernisation and continuous operational improvement, spanning manufacturing systems as well as back-office processes.

Commenting on the partnership, Rob Pears, UK Head of Manufacturing, Automotive and Life Sciences at Capgemini, said Bentley Motors is recognised globally for its engineering excellence and manufacturing heritage. He noted that the collaboration combines Bentley’s ambitious transformation agenda with Capgemini’s expertise in integrating complex enterprise and manufacturing technologies to create a future-ready digital ecosystem powered by AI and data.
