Bondada Engineering Delivers 78.3 MW of Solar Capacity Across Key Indian States

Bondada Engineering Limited (BEL), a key player in engineering and infrastructure services, has completed the commissioning of 78.3 megawatts of solar power installations across multiple locations in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, as of September 30, 2025. The projects were developed for leading Independent Power Producers (IPPs), including NLC India, Mahagenco, and Paradigm IT, with sites located in Hingoli, Dhule, Pathardi, Neyveli, and Amaravati.

Despite severe weather disruptions during this year’s heavy monsoon, particularly in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, the company maintained project timelines. Persistent rainfall and waterlogging posed operational hurdles, but teams on the ground worked through these difficulties to ensure on-time delivery.

Speaking on the development, Dr Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of Bondada Engineering Limited, said “Completing more than 78 MW of solar capacity in such adverse conditions is a result of our team’s practical problem-solving and strong work ethic. This achievement reflects the values we stand by—working through the challenges of today to help build cleaner energy systems for the future.” These newly operational solar plants will contribute to India’s renewable energy goals under its national targets, adding generation capacity at a time when the country continues to expand its clean energy footprint.
