Blue Dart Express Limited has announced a General Price Increase (GPI) of 9% to 12% across its domestic portfolio, effective January 1, 2027. The increase will vary depending on the product and customer shipping profile. Blue Dart said the annual pricing revision is intended to account for changes in operating costs while supporting continued investment in its logistics network, technology and service capabilities. Customers signing up for Blue Dart services between October 1 and December 31, 2026 will be exempt from the upcoming price increase.
Balfour Manuel, Managing Director, Blue Dart, said, “As India’s economy grows and businesses expand into new markets, reliable logistics remains essential to their competitiveness. Meeting this demand requires sustained investment in infrastructure, technology and network capacity amid an evolving global trade environment. Our annual price revision supports these investments, strengthening our ability to connect businesses across India and deliver the service excellence customers expect from Blue Dart.”
Dipanjan Banerjee, Chief Commercial Officer, Blue Dart, said, “Rising labour and utility costs, alongside inflationary pressures, continue to put pressure on operating expenses. We are mitigating these pressures through productivity improvements, network optimisation and greater automation, while enhancing the customer experience. This measured price revision will help us maintain delivery reliability, speed and service quality across our domestic portfolio.”
The company said the revised pricing will support investments in its integrated air and ground network, technology infrastructure and operational capabilities. Blue Dart will continue to focus on network optimisation and automation while maintaining service standards across its domestic operations.
