Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has secured additional orders worth Rs. 596 Crore since its last disclosure on 01 January 2026, reinforcing its strong order book and sustained growth momentum. Major orders include Drone Detection and Jamming Systems, Mobile Communication Terminals, software-based solutions, as well as upgrades, spares, and comprehensive services for existing systems. These orders further underscore BEL’s critical role in strengthening India’s defence preparedness and self-reliance in high-technology domains.
The Drone Detection and Jamming Systems are designed to address emerging asymmetric threats by providing effective surveillance, detection, and neutralisation of hostile unmanned aerial platforms. These systems enhance situational awareness and protection for critical installations and strategic assets. The Mobile Communication Terminals will support secure, reliable, and real-time communication for defence forces operating in diverse and challenging environments.
BEL has also received significant orders for software solutions and system upgrades, reflecting the increasing emphasis on digital transformation, network-centric operations, and lifecycle support for mission-critical platforms.
