ACME Solar Wins 301 MW Assured Peak Power Project Under SECI FDRE-VII Tender

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has secured a 301 MW / 1,204 MWh assured peak supply project under the SECI FDRE-VII tender, following an e-reverse auction conducted on February 5, 2026. The formal Letter of Award is expected to be issued shortly.

With this allocation, ACME Solar’s total contracted portfolio has expanded to 8,071 MW, spanning solar, wind, battery storage, hybrid, firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE), and round-the-clock (RTC) solutions. The company continues to strengthen its position as a diversified renewable energy platform in India.

Under the terms of the bid, ACME Solar is required to supply 4 MWh per MW of contracted capacity for any four hours each day during non-solar hours. The project mandates minimum availability levels of 70% on a monthly basis and 85% annually, ensuring dependable power delivery during peak demand periods.

The project will be executed using a combination of solar generation and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) technology. ACME Solar plans to leverage its existing night-time grid connectivity to efficiently meet the assured supply obligations while maintaining operational reliability.

ACME Solar currently has an operational contracted capacity of 2,962 MW, with an additional 5,109 MW under construction, including approximately 17 GWh of battery storage installations. Of the under-construction portfolio, 2,668 MW is backed by signed power purchase agreements.
