Action Construction Equipment Ltd (ACE), the world’s largest Pick-n-Carry crane manufacturer and a leading Indian equipment maker, has signed a strategic MoU with Sanghvi Movers Ltd, India’s and Asia’s largest crane rental company and the world’s fifth-largest in the segment. The partnership aims to scale up the adoption of indigenously manufactured heavy slew cranes, including truck cranes and crawler cranes, across major infrastructure and industrial projects nationwide.
The collaboration supports the Government of India’s “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” and “Make in India” initiatives by promoting the use of locally built heavy lifting equipment. The agreement outlines medium-term cooperation to strengthen domestic capabilities, reduce reliance on imported cranes, and enhance productivity in large-scale project execution.
Sanghvi Movers plans to gradually expand its fleet with ACE-manufactured heavy cranes, boosting domestic manufacturing and ensuring quicker, more efficient, and cost-effective deployment across high-growth sectors. ACE, in turn, will focus on providing product customization, technical support, and specialized solutions suited to India’s infrastructure needs.
The partnership is expected to drive import substitution, encourage local supply chain development, and support job creation and skill enhancement within the country. With infrastructure development accelerating across India, the collaboration strengthens the nation’s ambition to become a global centre for advanced lifting solutions.
