ABB has unveiled the latest upgrade to its digital solution, My Measurement Assistant+, introducing advanced AI-driven capabilities designed to simplify and optimize industrial device maintenance. The enhanced platform delivers real-time, multilingual support powered by generative AI, along with expanded condition monitoring, dynamic QR code functionality, and predictive maintenance features.

The web-based application consolidates device health data, diagnostics, and service history into a single interface tailored for ABB measurement devices. By enabling faster issue resolution and actionable insights, the solution supports industries such as chemicals, power, mining, and water management in reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.

A key feature of the update is its integration with ABB Genixâ„¢ Copilot, developed in collaboration with Microsoft. Built on Microsoft Foundry, the AI system contextualizes large volumes of industrial data to deliver analysis and prescriptive maintenance recommendations. The platform now supports multiple languages, including Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese, and Portuguese, broadening accessibility for global users.

The system requires no installation. Technicians can instantly access device-specific information by scanning a dynamic QR code attached to equipment. Through the interface, users can interact with the AI assistant to diagnose issues, review spare parts, and receive guidance on repairs. The platform can also facilitate remote support sessions, reducing the need for on-site visits and minimizing operational disruptions.

ABB’s digital leadership emphasizes that the solution addresses key industry challenges such as workforce skill gaps, limited resources, and costly downtime. By combining Internet of Things (IoT) principles with advanced analytics, the system enables a shift from reactive maintenance to proactive and predictive strategies.

The solution is further strengthened through integration with GenixDatalyzer, ABB’s fleet monitoring platform. This integration allows real-time data visualization, enhanced emissions monitoring, and AI-supported diagnostics. A newly introduced cybersecurity dashboard provides transparency into asset protection and data security measures.

According to Microsoft, the collaboration demonstrates how AI-driven tools can transform industrial maintenance by turning complex datasets into practical, real-time guidance. The result is improved asset reliability, faster troubleshooting, and more efficient operations.

ABB is showcasing these innovations at Hannover Messe, highlighting the combined capabilities of My Measurement Assistant+ and GenixDatalyzer. With over 140 years of expertise and a global workforce of approximately 110,000 employees, ABB continues to advance electrification and automation technologies, supporting industries in achieving higher productivity and sustainability.
