ETA Technology Pvt Ltd, a pioneer in advanced joining, forming, and testing solutions, is proud to announce its participation in IMTEX 2026. This edition marks a significant milestone for the company, which has been a steadfast participant in IMTEX since its inception in 1992 in New Delhi. The trade exhibition will take place from 21st to 25thJanuary, 2026 at BIEC, Bengaluru.
For over three decades, ETA Technology has evolved alongside the Indian machine tool industry, transforming from a specialist in friction welding into a global powerhouse for high-end engineering solutions. At IMTEX 2026, the company will showcase its mastery of Solid-State Joining and Precision Metal Forming, technologies that are now critical to India’s burgeoning Electric Vehicle (EV), Aerospace, Space, and High-Speed Rail sectors.
While ETA is well known for its massive Friction Welders, the spotlight at IMTEX is on the “ultimate in precision”: a 70 kg Mini-Rotary Friction Welding (RFW) machine. This compact powerhouse demonstrates ETA’s ability to deliver sub-millimetre accuracy for the medical, electronics, and precision instrument sectors. Riding the need for lightweighting, ETA’s Friction Stir Welding (FSW) solutions are revolutionising the assembly of EV battery packs and Heat Sinks. The Large Series Stir Welders are designed for much bigger applications like  cryogenic fuel tanks. The exhibit also highlights ETA’s R&D breakthroughs in Additive Friction Stir Deposition (AFSD) and high-speed joining of dissimilar metals like Aluminium to Copper.
In addition, the company’s booth will also be featuring Servo-Controlled Positive-Drive Screw Presses and Electrical Upsetters, designed for near-zero rejection rates and superior grain flow in critical engine and other automotive flanged components.
Visitors to Hall 2A, Stall A107 will also get to explore a vast portfolio of specialized Test Rigs, including an Instrumented Rail Wheel Calibration Rig, Brake Dynamometers and specialized test rigs for automotive steering and ball joint.
“Our journey with IMTEX began in 1992, and it has been the primary stage for us to demonstrate our commitment to solving complex engineering problems,” said Sukumaran Nair, Chairman of ETA Technology. “Our focus remains on reliability and precision, ensuring that as the industries shift towards newer materials and technologies, ETA is ready with the tools to build that future.”With a dedicated R&D division and a customer base spanning the globe, ETA Technology continues to set benchmarks for “Made in India” engineering, delivering smart-machines that offer the strength of forging with the intelligence of the digital age.
