DesignTech Systems participated in IMTEX FORMING 2026 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from January 21-25, presenting solutions across vision inspection, additive manufacturing, and factory automation.

With over 28 years of operation in India, DesignTech Systems functions as a business partner for Stratasys, MathWorks, Hexagon Design & Engineering, and DEP MeshWorks. The company provides CAE Software, 3D Printing Solutions, and engineering services ranging from design, analysis, and validation.

The company’s booth at Hall 3A, B136 demonstrated technologies designed to address quality control and production efficiency requirements in manufacturing operations.

VisionX, a 360-degree AI-powered vision inspection system, represented DesignTech’s entry into automated defect detection. Unlike conventional systems that rely on golden image comparison, VisionX analyses each image independently to identify scratches, dents, and surface defects.

Visitors saw demonstrations of VisionX integrated into production lines, where it supports faster quality verification and reduces manual intervention. The setup appealed to fabricators requiring reliable defect detection before parts reach assembly, shipment, or delivery to customers.

Additionally, SmartRACK, an inventory management solution with ERP connectivity, was part of the company’s showcase. The system enables real-time tracking of materials and components on the shop floor, providing visibility into stock levels and movement. This addresses inventory control challenges where manual tracking methods create gaps in production planning and material availability.

DesignTech also presented Stratasys additive manufacturing capabilities through Stratasys J35 Pro, a 3D printing system, highlighting its role in accelerating product development and improving manufacturing readiness.

Stratasys showcase emphasized how integrating 3D printing into the prototyping and validation stages helps manufacturers shorten development timelines, control costs, and transition from design to production with greater certainty. Visitors also got a chance to witness how these technologies function in prototyping, tooling, and end-use part production across industries and precision engineering sectors.

“DesignTech Systems brings targeted technologies to IMTEX FORMING 2026 that help manufacturers implement digital solutions more effectively,” said Prashant Deshpande, Vice President – Strategy at DesignTech Systems. “Our automation and inventory management tools provide the connectivity needed for real-time shop floor oversight in today’s competitive environment.”

Factory automation formed a significant part of DesignTech’s presentation. The company positioned itself as a provider of solutions spanning assembly line automation, robotic material handling, and quality inspection systems. Discussions in their booth highlighted manufacturer priorities around compatibility of DesignTech systems with installed equipment, implementation timelines, and the availability of local technical support.IMTEX 2026 participation allowed the company to demonstrate how vision inspection, inventory management, and additive manufacturing function within integrated factory environments. For manufacturers assessing technology investments, the booth provided direct access to technical personnel familiar with challenges specific to Indian manufacturing contexts.
