INDEX Corporation, a manufacturer of high-precision CNC turning machines headquartered in Noblesville, Indiana, announced the promotion of two senior leaders to director-level roles within its executive leadership team. The company said the appointments reflect its focus on developing internal leadership and maintaining operational stability as it expands its presence across North America.

Ross Kenyon has been promoted to Director of Applications. Mr Kenyon joined INDEX in 2002 as an applications engineer and is now in his 24th year with the company. Over the course of his career at INDEX, he has held several technical and leadership roles, including lead engineer and department manager, supporting customers across multiple industries and machine platforms. In his new role, MrKenyon will lead applications engineering, process development, and machine installations across the United States and Canada.

Michael Huggett, President and CEO of INDEX, said Mr Kenyon brings strong technical depth and a disciplined approach to execution. He added that Mr Kenyon understands both the machines and the practical manufacturing environments in which customers operate, which will support INDEX as it continues strengthening its applications and process development capabilities.

Tyler Economan has been promoted to Director of Sales. Mr Economan joined INDEX in 2006 and has worked across multiple functions, including proposals, applications, customer support, operations, and sales. As Director of Sales, he will oversee external sales, internal sales, and marketing, with responsibility for sales strategy, market development, and distributor management.

Mr Huggett said effective sales leadership depends on long-term customer trust, structured execution, and relationship management. He added that Economan’s cross-functional experience allows him to connect strategy with day-to-day execution and lead the commercial function with a practical understanding of the business.

INDEX said strengthening leadership within both applications and sales will support its ability to deliver complex machining solutions while maintaining strong customer support. Huggett said the promotions reflect the company’s growth direction and emphasize the need for experienced leadership as INDEX moves into its next stage of expansion.
