EMO Hannover 2025 has officially concluded, and UCAM, one of India’s most innovative precision engineering companies, made a remarkable impression on the global manufacturing stage. With a strong presence at Hall 12, Stand E51, UCAM showcased its latest innovations in fourth and fifth-axis rotary tables, MPR systems, and high-performance torque motors, demonstrating how Indian precision engineering is transforming manufacturing worldwide.

Founded in 1985 by visionary technocrat Indradev Babu, UCAM began its journey in Bengaluru with a mission to reduce India’s reliance on imported rotary systems by creating machines built for precision, reliability, and performance. The launch of its first rotary table in 1992 marked a milestone in the company’s history, laying the foundation for decades of innovation. By the early 2000s, UCAM had gained international recognition, achieving ISO 9001 certification in 2001 and exporting its first rotary indexing table the same year. Over time, the company expanded its product range to include fifth-axis rotary tables and advanced torque motors under its Nimble Electric brand, reflecting its commitment to continuous innovation.

At EMO Hannover 2025, UCAM highlighted its URQ Series 4th-axis rotary tables, including the URQ-180 RH Cable & Conduit, the URQ-200 High Speed, and the URQ-250 High Speed, which are engineered to deliver compact, high-speed performance with superior accuracy and rigidity. The fifth-axis tilt solutions, USSR200q-Tilt and ULSR200q-Tilt, showcased UCAM’s capability to handle complex multi-axis machining with precision and repeatability. Attendees also explored the URPQ-200 High Speed, URX 320, and UTTR Series MPR systems, designed for enhanced productivity and flexibility in diverse manufacturing applications. UCAM also unveiled its latest innovations, the UDD600CT direct-drive rotary table and the UNXT 250, built for high-torque, high-precision machining, reflecting the company’s dedication to meeting the evolving demands of global manufacturers.

UCAM’s booth drew significant attention as visitors experienced live demonstrations of its compact, versatile tilting tables, which allow high-precision machining in a single setup, even on smaller machines. The company’s innovative direct drive and worm drive technologies, along with unique clamping and hydraulic solutions, illustrated how UCAM is redefining workholding, fixturing, and productivity for machine tool manufacturers worldwide. The IP65-rated series drew particular attention for its durability and protection against coolant leakage, a critical requirement for high-speed machining environments.

Speaking at the event, Varun Dev, CEO of UCAM, said, “EMO Hannover has always been the place where the world comes to see the latest in manufacturing technology. Our participation this year reaffirms UCAM’s commitment to delivering high-precision solutions that enable industries to achieve higher accuracy, better productivity, and global competitiveness. We are proud to showcase Indian engineering on this international stage and to engage with our partners and customers from around the world.”

The UCAM team personally interacted with visitors, sharing insights on the company’s technology, innovations, and applications across sectors such as aerospace, automotive, medical components, and cutting tools. Their presence emphasised UCAM’s customer-centric approach and highlighted the people behind its engineering excellence.

UCAM also demonstrated how its products can upgrade existing three-axis machines into high-precision five-axis centres, allowing manufacturers to maximise efficiency, reduce setups, and achieve best-in-class repeatability and accuracy. The company’s compact tilting tables, large-swing ULSR series, and table-in-table UTTR systems showcased solutions that are both versatile and performance-driven, supporting the company’s tagline, “Engineering Excellence. Exactly.”

From its early days in Bengaluru to its growing international footprint, UCAM has consistently delivered technology-driven solutions that empower manufacturers worldwide. Its presence at EMO Hannover 2025 not only highlighted decades of innovation but also reinforced India’s position as a global hub for precision engineering. Visitors witnessed firsthand how UCAM’s commitment to quality, performance, and innovation is shaping the future of high-precision machining.

EMO Hannover 2025 has once again proven to be the definitive platform for manufacturing innovation, and UCAM’s participation showcased the ingenuity, expertise, and vision of Indian precision engineering on a global stage.
