KatanaMech Solutions Pvt Ltd will participate in Die & Mould India 2026, to be held from April 21 to 24 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. The company will exhibit at Hall 3, Stall L15. Die Mould Expo, organised by the Tool and Gauge Manufacturers Association of India (TAGMA), draws professionals from across the automotive, aerospace, consumer durables, and industrial manufacturing sectors. The 2024 edition recorded over 38,000 visitors.
KatanaMech Solutions is positioning its exhibit around two areas that remain underserved in the Indian tooling market: graphite machining for EDM electrode production and high-precision European workholding. The company will display a complete graphite machining solution: diamond-coated end mills from InovaTools, angle heads and modular vices from Gerardi SpA, PSC hydraulic holders and shrink fit holders from SAB d.o.o., box jaws from Bison, end mills from Hachenbach, taps from UFS, and thread mills from VHM Schwarz.
Graphite is the material of choice for EDM electrodes used in injection mould and die-casting tool production. Machining it demands tools built specifically for the material: standard carbide wears rapidly against graphite’s abrasive nature, compromising both electrode geometry and surface finish. Diamond-coated tooling offers significantly longer tool life and consistent dimensional accuracy, but reliable supply in India has been limited. KatanaMech is among the few Indian suppliers stocking and supporting a complete graphite machining toolkit from European manufacturers.
Tarun Choudhary, Founder and Managing Director of KatanaMech Solutions, said: “Every mould shop in India that works with EDM knows how difficult graphite machining is to get right. The tools that solve this problem have existed in Europe for decades. What has been missing in India is a single, knowledgeable supplier who stocks them, understands their application, and supports customers after the sale. That is the gap we are addressing. Die & Mould India gives us the opportunity to put these solutions in front of the toolmakers who need them most.”
KatanaMech Solutions, headquartered in Gurugram, operates additional offices in Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai and Mehsana. The company has delivered over one million tools and workholding products across India and counts more than 30 European manufacturers among its supply partners.
Visitors to Die & Mould India 2026 can find KatanaMech Solutions at Hall 3, Stall L15, Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, from April 21 to 24, 2026.
