Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced a new wave of innovations in collaboration with NVIDIA, aimed at advancing large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and next-generation supercomputing capabilities. The expanded portfolio is designed to help enterprises, service providers, and research institutions accelerate AI adoption and achieve faster insights from complex workloads.

The announcement introduces enhancements to HPE’s AI Factory offerings and its supercomputing platform, enabling organisations to deploy high-performance systems that integrate compute, graphics processing units, networking, software, and cooling technologies. These solutions are tailored for both large-scale and sovereign environments where performance, efficiency, and data control are critical.

At the core of the update is the integration of NVIDIA technologies into HPE’s exascale-class supercomputing platform, the HPE Cray Supercomputing GX5000. New compute blade options featuring NVIDIA Vera CPUs deliver high-density processing power, enabling organisations to scale demanding AI and high-performance computing workloads. Enhanced networking capabilities, including NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand, provide ultra-fast connectivity and improved energy efficiency for large systems.

HPE is also introducing next-generation AI infrastructure systems designed for large-scale deployments. The NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 by HPE rack-scale solution supports advanced AI models with high computational requirements, while the HPE Compute XD700 server delivers increased GPU density for training and inference workloads. Additional support for NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs further expands performance capabilities across the AI Factory portfolio.

The company is complementing these hardware advancements with software and service innovations that simplify AI deployment. These include support for multi-tenancy environments, integration with enterprise platforms such as Red Hat solutions, and the introduction of NVIDIA Mission Control software for streamlined workload management and system monitoring.

Industry leaders noted that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to enabling organisations to harness AI at scale. By combining accelerated computing with advanced networking and cooling technologies, the solutions aim to reduce deployment complexity while improving performance and efficiency.

With growing demand for AI-driven innovation across sectors such as healthcare, scientific research, and engineering, HPE’s expanded portfolio positions it to support next-generation workloads. The continued partnership with NVIDIA underscores a focus on delivering integrated, high-performance infrastructure capable of powering the future of AI and supercomputing.
