Sunita Tools Limited has entered into an Interim Sales Agreement for the supply of 2,40,000 empty NATO Specification 155mm M107 artillery shells. The agreement, finalised on February 24, 2026, provides for a steady supply schedule of 10,000 units per month over a period of 24 months, with a defined grace period as applicable.

Under the terms of the contract, the company will execute monthly deliveries at the agreed rate, with billing estimated at approximately INR 24 crore per month once procedural formalities are completed and the advance payment is received. The payment structure includes a rolling advance equivalent to 50 percent of three months’ supplies, with each month’s delivery adjusted against the advance and cleared prior to dispatch.

The buyer is registered with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and will issue DP02 documentation, enabling supplies to commence pending completion of Sunita Tools’ DPIIT registration formalities. Initial dispatches are expected to begin at the earliest feasible date. The agreement is non-exclusive, allowing the company flexibility to allocate part of its production capacity to additional customers as opportunities arise.

This development marks a significant milestone in Sunita Tools’ long-term strategy to expand its footprint in the international defence and aerospace sectors. With advanced manufacturing infrastructure and specialised production lines, the company will execute the order in line with stipulated technical specifications and delivery timelines.
