Commercial production at the facility has commenced with effect from January 20, 2026.

The newly commissioned aluminium forging facility has an installed production capacity of 3,000 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA) and marks a significant strategic milestone for the Company. With this development, Ramkrishna Forgings Limited has formally made its foray into the aluminium forging segment, expanding beyond its established capabilities in steel forging and significantly broadening its product portfolio.

The aluminium forging facility has been set up with state-of-the-art manufacturing infrastructure, advanced process controls, and stringent quality assurance systems to meet the evolving requirements of global automotive and industrial customers. The plant is designed to cater to high-precision, lightweight, and high-strength aluminium forged components, which are increasingly in demand across automotive, electric vehicle (EV), and other mobility segments.

By entering aluminium forging, Ramkrishna Forgings Limited aims to serve both domestic and international EV OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers with high-quality, value-added solutions, thereby reinforcing its position as a preferred global supplier.

The new facility is also expected to generate employment opportunities in the region and contribute to the industrial development of Jharkhand. With the successful commissioning of the aluminium forging facility, Ramkrishna Forgings Limited continues to demonstrate its focus on innovation, capacity expansion, and market diversification. The Company remains confident that this initiative will support sustainable growth, improve customer engagement, and create new opportunities in high-growth segments, particularly electric mobility, in the years ahead.
