JSW Cement, part of the JSW Group, has commissioned an additional 1.00 MTPA cement grinding unit at its Nagaur facility in Rajasthan. The commissioning increases the company’s total cement grinding capacity to 25.10 MTPA. The company’s total clinker manufacturing capacity, including the capacity of its joint venture JSW Cement FZC in the UAE, now stands at 9.74 MTPA.
JSW Cement commenced operations in North India in March 2026 with the Nagaur Integrated Plant, which included a 3.30 MTPA clinkerisation unit and a 2.50 MTPA cement grinding unit. With the commissioning of the additional grinding unit, the Nagaur plant’s total cement grinding capacity has increased to 3.50 MTPA.
The expanded facility will enable JSW Cement to increase its supply capacity in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and the National Capital Region. The expansion has been funded through a combination of equity and long-term debt. During the quarter ended September 30, 2026, the company also commissioned an Alternate Fuel Handling System and a Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS) at the Nagaur Integrated Plant.

JSW Cement currently operates nine plants in India, including two integrated units, one clinker unit and six grinding units across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Odisha and Rajasthan. The company also operates a clinker unit through JSW Cement FZC in the UAE. The company manufactures blended cement products including PSC, PCC and PPC, along with GGBS, OPC, clinker, ready-mix concrete, construction chemicals and waterproofing compounds.
