Dassault Systèmes has announced that Jakson Green Vehicles Private Limited (JGV) has selected the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform for the design and development of its electric vehicles. The deployment will provide Jakson Green Vehicles with a unified digital environment for product development, enabling collaboration among internal teams and suppliers. The platform is designed to support digital continuity across the product lifecycle while streamlining approvals, engineering change management and development processes through standardised libraries and automated workflows.
Jakson Green Vehicles is developing an urban zero-emission mobility ecosystem in India, with a focus on commercial electric vehicles. The company is working on technology-driven vehicles aimed at delivering performance, lower total cost of ownership and customised solutions for customers.
The adoption of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform is expected to help JGV move from legacy engineering environments to an integrated digital development process. The platform will connect product design and engineering activities through a common digital thread, allowing teams to work collaboratively across different stages of vehicle development.
