Euler Motors has expanded its manufacturing operations in Palwal, Haryana, with a dedicated four-wheeler production line for its electric commercial vehicle portfolio. The facility will manufacture the Turbo EV 1000, a one-tonne electric truck, and the Storm EV, which features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

With an investment of ₹100 crore, the expansion takes Euler Motors’ manufacturing footprint to 40 acres and raises its annual production capacity to up to 24,000 vehicles. The facility was inaugurated by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp, in the presence of Euler Motors’ leadership team.

The new production line has been developed to support the company’s growing four-wheeler business. At full capacity, the facility will operate in two shifts along with a third hybrid shift. It includes an automated four-wheeler assembly conveyor, dedicated assembly lines, a body shop and an integrated battery pack assembly line.

The facility has been developed around a localised supply chain, with the Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV designed and engineered in India. Manufacturing processes include quality checks and testing at multiple stages to identify potential issues before vehicles are delivered to customers.

Critical vehicle systems such as suspension frames, drivetrain and steering undergo detailed testing. Battery packs are subjected to thermal cycling, thermal shock, water-wading, drop, vibration, mechanical shock and abuse tests under operating conditions. Electrical, mechanical and thermal systems are also validated as part of the manufacturing process.

Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp, said the expansion reflects the growing opportunities in India’s electric commercial mobility sector. He added that the new production line would enable Euler Motors to take its electric commercial vehicle proposition to a larger market while supporting the development of a stronger EV ecosystem.

Saurav Kumar, Founder & CEO, Euler Motors, said the company’s four-wheeler products have helped accelerate electric vehicle adoption in the cargo segment. According to the company, four-wheeler cargo EV penetration has increased from around 1% to 5.8%, while Euler Motors has achieved an estimated 28% market share in the segment. The company said monthly four-wheeler sales increased from around 40 units in April last year to approximately 800 units in June this year. The additional manufacturing capacity is intended to support further growth in demand.

Gaurav Kumar, Head – Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Euler Motors, said quality and consistency remain central to the company’s manufacturing approach. The company has brought key vehicle components, including the chassis, axles and battery pack, into its manufacturing operations and subjects vehicles to extensive testing.

Founded in 2018, Euler Motors is an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer based in Delhi. Its portfolio includes the HiLoad EV, Storm EV and Turbo EV 1000. The company’s vehicles have collectively covered more than 504 million kilometres, supported by over 100 sales and service touchpoints across India.
