Fujiyama Power Systems Limited (BSE: 544613 | NSE: UTLSOLAR), a leading provider of rooftop solar solutions in India, has commissioned a 2 GW power electronics manufacturing facility at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The facility is part of the company’s large-scale greenfield manufacturing expansion aimed at strengthening its integrated solar manufacturing capabilities.
The commissioning marks another major milestone in the development of Fujiyama’s integrated manufacturing complex at Ratlam. The company had earlier commissioned a 2 GW solar panel manufacturing facility at the site in May 2026. With the latest facility now operational, Fujiyama is expanding its ability to manufacture key components required for rooftop solar systems.
The new plant has an installed manufacturing capacity of 2 GW and will produce a range of power electronics products, including solar inverters, UPS systems and other related solutions. Following the commissioning, Fujiyama’s total power electronics manufacturing capacity has increased to 4.2 GW.
The company expects the additional capacity to help meet the rising demand for rooftop solar systems across India. The facility will also support greater manufacturing integration, supply chain efficiency and product availability as the company expands its presence in the residential solar market.
Commenting on the development, Pawan Kumar Garg, Chairman and Joint Managing Director, Fujiyama Power Systems Limited, said, “The commissioning of our power electronics manufacturing facility at Ratlam represents another important milestone in Fujiyama’s growth journey. As demand for rooftop solar solutions continues to grow across India, strengthening our manufacturing capabilities in power electronics enables us to deliver reliable, high quality products while improving operational efficiencies and supply chain integration.” He added that the company’s battery manufacturing facility at Ratlam is progressing as planned and will further strengthen the integrated manufacturing platform.
Fujiyama Power Systems has around 30 years of operating experience and offers products across solar panels, solar inverters, lithium-ion and tubular batteries, chargers and power electronics systems. The company operates manufacturing facilities across Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh and is developing an integrated Solar Power Generating System (SPGS) manufacturing complex at Ratlam.
The company follows a predominantly B2C business model and serves customers across India through a distribution and service network of more than 8,900 channel partners, including distributors, dealers, exclusive stores and service engineers. Its presence in Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets supports its rooftop solar business and after-sales network.
Fujiyama has also commissioned 1 GW of Mono PERC solar cell capacity and is developing an additional 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell facility. These investments are aimed at strengthening its position in India’s growing solar market and supporting demand for domestically manufactured solar products under government-supported programmes.
