The International Tools & Hardware Expo (TiTE) x International Hardware Expo Taiwan (IHT) has achieved ISO 14067 Carbon Footprint Certification, marking a major milestone in Taiwan’s transition toward sustainable manufacturing and low-carbon industrial development. The certification underscores the exhibition’s commitment to aligning with global environmental standards as international supply chains increasingly prioritize decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainable sourcing.
Jointly organized by the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers’ Association (THTMA) and Lanza International Co., Ltd., the exhibition received the certification following an extensive independent audit process covering exhibition planning, on-site monitoring, and post-event verification. The achievement positions TiTE x IHT among the leading green industrial trade platforms in Asia and highlights Taiwan’s growing role in supporting environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.
The certification presentation ceremony was attended by representatives from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and the International Trade Administration. The organizers stated that the accreditation reflects a long-term commitment to reducing the environmental impact of trade exhibitions while helping Taiwanese manufacturers strengthen their competitiveness in global low-carbon markets shaped by initiatives such as the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
Organizers also announced that the 2026 edition of TiTE x IHT will be held from October 20 to 22 at the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center (TICEC). Building on the momentum of its inaugural edition, the upcoming exhibition is expected to feature approximately 500 exhibitors and more than 1,000 booths, making it one of the largest hardware and smart manufacturing exhibitions in Taiwan.
Centered on the theme “From Manufacturing to Co-Creation | AI Empowerment • Smart Upgrade,” the exhibition will showcase a broad range of industrial solutions including hand tools, fasteners, building hardware, automation systems, collaborative robots, low-carbon materials, and energy-efficient manufacturing technologies. The event aims to provide global buyers with an integrated sourcing platform that combines design, precision manufacturing, carbon management, and sustainable logistics solutions.
Taichung’s strong industrial ecosystem and concentration of precision machinery manufacturers continue to position the city as an increasingly important procurement hub amid global supply chain realignment. Organizers said the exhibition’s “Exhibition as Factory” concept allows international buyers to evaluate products on-site and conduct factory visits within 24 hours, significantly reducing procurement timelines and improving sourcing efficiency.
To support international participation, visitor registration and applications for the International Buyer Accommodation Subsidy Program are now open. The initiative is designed to attract key buyers and distributors from Europe, North America, and emerging markets by offering accommodation support and customized business matchmaking services.
With more than 70 percent of exhibition space already reserved, organizers expect strong global participation as Taiwan continues to expand its role in green smart manufacturing and industrial innovation. Lanza International Co, Ltd is a professional exhibition planning and execution firm with extensive experience in integrated international exhibition marketing, buyer matchmaking, forum curation, and industry positioning, committed to creating forward-looking and globally competitive industry exchange platforms.
