Sameer Electro Systems Pvt Ltd was founded by Shirish Deodhar, an electrical engineer who previously worked with MSEDCL. After leaving the electricity board, he established Sameer Electro Systems in 1988, channelling his technical expertise into building a firm that served India’s growing industrial needs. After his passing in 2005, Sameer Deodhar took charge at the age of 21, steadily rebuilding client, vendor and team confidence before guiding the firm into a sustained period of growth. A voracious reader, music lover and widely travelled professional with visits to 18 countries, Sameer brings a global perspective to his work and leads by a simple principle: let challenges come from wherever, answers from me.
Beyond leading the company, Sameer serves as a board member of the Electrical Contractors’ Association of Maharashtra, Pune Region, and has played an active role in improving the functioning of the fraternity. He also initiated the Shirish Deodhar Memorial Best Electrical Installation Award, the only recognition of its kind in the electrical contracting sector, where contractors from across the state compete to present their finest work.

Giving Back to the Community
Beyond electrical contracting, Sameer Electro Systems Pvt Ltd is connected to Edgeuhope, a not-for-profit initiative founded by Sameer Deodhar in 2018 with a clear and urgent purpose: no child should ever feel driven to take their own life. The organisation works to improve the emotional and mental health of school children between the ages of 10 and 14, with a particular focus on students from underprivileged backgrounds across Maharashtra.
Through drum circles, yoga, meditation and group counselling, Edgeuhope has reached over 4,000 students to date.
