19th INTEC 2022 – International Machine Tools and Industrial Trade Fair, organised by Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) is becoming the finest platform for LMW, Machine Tool Division to showcase their latest innovations. The products on display are designed in line with the company’s policy of delivering Innovation and value additions for the end-users of various segments like Automobiles, Pumps, Valves, Oil & Gas, Industrial machinery, Dies and Moulds, Fittings, Electrical, Foundry & forging etc.

K Sreeramachandra Murthy, President of Operations of Lakshmi Machine Works Limited MTD Division said, “Post COVID, we are back on the stage, and this year we are participating in many exhibitions and launching our new products. We received an overwhelming response in the last exhibitions we participated in and at INTEC, we expect to witness similar or more footfalls, especially from our South Indian market.”

On the first day of INTEC 2022 their two new machines – G 50, a high-speed Compact Vertical Machining Center and LF20C Twin G, a Twin Spindle Twin Turret Chucker were launched by Satyakam Arya, Managing Director & CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV). Along with LMW officials, Ramesh Babu, President of CODISSIA, and Ramachandran, Chairman of Intec 2022 attended the launch at the LMW MTD stall at Intec 2022.

JG50: High-Speed Moving Column VMC

JG-50 JG50 is a highly productive compact high-speed moving column Vertical Machining Center (VMC). It is poised to meet the high volume and high accuracy requirements of modern industry. The machine has been tested for components with stringent quality parameters yet meeting the high-volume productions.

The machine has a very high acceleration of greater than 1G and spindle speed up to 16,000 rpm. The tool change is only 1 second and saves enormous time. Saving time means that ideal movements or non-cutting time are reduced to the bare minimum by way of increased speeds and accelerations, thereby increasing productivity substantially. The machine is also ultra-compact which saves shop floor space.

Reduce Cycle Time for Component Production with LF20C

LF20C Twin G a Twin Spindle Twin Turret Chucker is a high productivity turning machine commonly called a Chucker. The machine has dual spindles and dual turrets which are 2 CNC Turning Centers combined into one machine. This helps in the reduction of investment, floor space, manpower and cycle time for component production.

In addition, the machine is also equipped with a fully automated gantry system for component loading and unloading. The machine is built to meet component machining of bearings, pumps, compressors, steering and transmission parts.

In addition to the two machines launched in INTEC 2022, LMW is also showcasing another three new products, namely the J5 vertical machining centre is suitable for all types of material cutting from Aluminum to Inconel, for Industries such as Auto, Aerospace, Die & Mould etc. A state of art high precision LL20MY L5 turn-mill centre with a 4-axis capable of gear hobbing & polygon turning is demonstrated in the exhibition. The Smart Mini master is an ultra-compact CNC Lathe that is also economical for small part turning to meet high volume industry requirements such as pumps, fittings, connectors and bearings.

K Sreeramchandra Murthy, the President of Operations of LMW Machine Tool Division, concluded, “we are not in the selling business but in the business of providing solutions to the Indian Manufacturing Industries. We address their pain by designing compact and efficient machines. LMW products require lesser area and generate significantly higher outputs.    LMW anticipates a bright future for Indian machine tool manufacturers in the near future. Industrial Trade Fairs such as INTEC help many Small Scale and Medium Scale Enterprises to grow and support the growth of the Indian economy. We are glad to be part of Intec and the growth story of the Indian manufacturing industries”.
