Wallwork Group will return to Southern Manufacturing 2026 with a significantly expanded range of advanced thermal processing, heat treatment and coating services, reinforcing its position as a single-source supplier for high-performance components. Exhibiting on stand E290, Wallwork will showcase capabilities including hot isostatic pressing (HIP), PVD and PVECD coatings, conventional and advanced heat treatments, plasma nitriding, vacuum carburising and vacuum brazing. These services are supported by full in-house mechanical testing and UKAS-accredited laboratories, allowing customers to move from development through to volume production with consistent quality and reduced supply chain complexity.

A major development since the previous exhibition is the installation of a second HIP system supplied by Quintus Technologies. This investment brings Wallwork’s total capital spend on HIP capability to £20 million and increases available capacity for customers in aerospace, defence, energy, additive manufacturing, motorsport and medical sectors.

The additional HIP capacity delivers shorter lead times and improved scheduling flexibility while providing greater assurance in the structural integrity of mission-critical components. HIP plays a key role in eliminating internal porosity, improving fatigue performance and enhancing overall material properties, particularly for additively manufactured and high-value parts.

Quality assurance remains central to Wallwork’s operations. The company holds EN9100 and Nadcap accreditations, along with multiple approvals from major aerospace manufacturers. Processes and coatings are developed in close collaboration with OEMs to address challenges such as wear, corrosion, fatigue and friction in demanding operating environments.

Visitors to stand E290 will also benefit from working with a fully UK-owned and ITAR-compliant supplier, an important consideration for organisations handling sensitive technologies and regulated programmes. Wallwork operates a nationwide network of facilities, supported by integrated logistics and technical support, enabling a complete end-to-end service model.

By combining advanced processing technologies under one organisation, Wallwork enables customers to streamline production workflows, reduce administrative overhead and maintain tighter control over quality and delivery. The company’s continued investment reflects long-term confidence in UK manufacturing and a commitment to supporting customers as component requirements become more complex.

At Southern Manufacturing 2026, Wallwork’s team will be available to discuss tailored solutions aimed at extending component life, improving performance, reducing weightand optimising manufacturing efficiency across a wide range of industrial sectors.
