Welspun World marked a major milestone in India’s infrastructure journey with the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Ductile Iron (DI) Pipe manufacturing facility by Hon’ble Union Minister for Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil. The new unit strengthens Welspun World’s role in advancing national water and sanitation priorities.
The facility is designed to support flagship government programs such as the Jal Jeevan Mission and Jal Shakti Abhiyan by supplying high-quality ductile iron pipes for drinking water and sanitation projects across urban and rural regions. These pipes will play a critical role in improving water accessibility, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Patil emphasized the government’s commitment to water security under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that strong industry participation is essential to delivering safe drinking water to every household and securing India’s water future.
