TVS Motor Company announced on Friday a recall of select units of its iQube electric two-wheeler for a proactive inspection. The recall affects vehicles manufactured between July 10, 2023, and September 9, 2023. This measure is part of the company’s commitment to ensuring optimal ride handling over extended usage.

In a statement, TVS Motor specified that the inspection will focus on the bridge tube of the affected units. The company aims to verify the integrity of this component and ensure that it maintains the vehicle’s ride quality and handling characteristics over time.

TVS Motor emphasized that any necessary rectifications identified during the inspection will be carried out at no cost to the customers. To facilitate the recall process, the company and its dealer partners will reach out individually to the owners of the affected scooters.

“Customer safety and satisfaction are our top priorities,” TVS Motor said in their statement. “We are committed to delivering the highest standards of quality and performance in our products.”

Owners of the iQube electric two-wheelers manufactured within the specified period are advised to await further communication from TVS Motor or their local dealers for detailed instructions on the inspection and any subsequent actions required.

This proactive move underscores TVS Motor’s dedication to quality assurance and customer care in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle market.
