TVS Motor Company reported strong sales growth across its key business segments in August 2026, with total monthly sales increasing 21% to 616,540 units from 509,536 units recorded in August 2025. Two-wheelers continued to drive the company’s performance. Total two-wheeler sales rose 21% year-on-year to 591,437 units in August 2026, compared with 490,788 units in August last year.
The domestic market also delivered healthy growth. TVS Motor sold 433,796 two-wheelers in India during August, up 18% from 368,862 units in August 2025. Electric two-wheelers emerged as the fastest-growing segment. Sales jumped 137% year-on-year to 59,453 units in August 2026 from 25,138 units a year earlier. The significant increase demonstrates the rising demand for TVS Motor’s electric mobility products and the expanding role of EVs in its overall business.
International operations also recorded a strong performance. Total international sales increased 29% to 174,452 units during August 2026, compared with 135,367 units in August 2025. International two-wheeler sales followed the same growth trend, rising 29% to 157,641 units from 121,926 units in the corresponding period last year.
The growth across overseas markets adds to the company’s domestic performance and strengthens TVS Motor’s overall sales momentum. The company has been increasing its presence in international markets through a wider product portfolio and expanded distribution.
Three-wheeler sales also registered a significant increase during the month. The segment recorded sales of 25,103 units in August 2026, representing 34% growth compared with 18,748 units in August 2025. The August numbers point to broad-based growth across TVS Motor’s business. While two-wheelers accounted for the majority of total volumes, the sharp rise in electric two-wheeler sales stands out as a major contributor to the company’s expanding mobility portfolio.
TVS Motor continues to develop products across different mobility categories to meet changing customer requirements. Its growing electric vehicle business is supported by increasing consumer interest in electric mobility in India and other markets. The company is also strengthening its international business as demand for two-wheelers and three-wheelers continues to grow across overseas markets. With total sales of more than 6.16 lakh units in August, TVS Motor has reported strong year-on-year growth across its principal segments. The performance reflects continued momentum in the company’s domestic operations, international business and electric mobility portfolio.
