TVS Motor Company has announced the appointment of Ravindran Shanmugam as an Independent Director on its Board for a term of five consecutive years beginning May 13, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. The appointment brings an experienced technology entrepreneur and global business strategist to the company’s leadership framework as TVS Motor Company continues to strengthen its focus on future mobility, digital transformation, and innovation-led growth.
Ravindran Shanmugam currently serves as the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Mablle, a Singapore-based AI-enabled interior design and renovation platform. Over the years, he has built extensive experience across technology-driven businesses, platform ecosystems, digital transformation, and scaling consumer-focused enterprises in international markets.
Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Mr Shanmugam worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he advised organisations on growth strategies and business transformation initiatives. He is also an alumnus of the University of Oxford. TVS Motor Company said the appointment reflects its continued emphasis on strengthening corporate governance while bringing strategic expertise in emerging technologies, consumer businesses, and AI-led transformation into board-level discussions.
Sudarshan Venu said Ravindran Shanmugam’s experience across digital businesses, technology platforms, entrepreneurship, and global scaling initiatives will add significant value to the company’s board.
