TÜV Rheinland, a global provider of independent testing, inspection and certification services, has inaugurated a new Automotive Component Testing Laboratory (ACT Lab) in Manesar, Haryana. The facility has been established to support automotive manufacturers in addressing evolving regulatory requirements, integrating emerging technologies and reducing product development timelines.

The ACT Lab is equipped with advanced testing systems sourced from leading global manufacturers. Its capabilities include structural testing, corrosion resistance evaluation, durability assessment and environmental simulation under extreme operating conditions. The laboratory also provides fatigue and lifecycle testing for critical automotive components, along with detailed material analysis for metals and polymers.
By offering integrated testing, inspection and certification services within a single facility, the laboratory enables comprehensive evaluation of automotive components. Its ability to simulate real-world operating environments ensures accurate and reliable results, supporting manufacturers in meeting both regulatory and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) requirements.
