TiE Bangalore has announced a new partnership with the Aerospace India Association (AIA) aimed at building a dedicated platform to connect startups, established aerospace companies, and academic institutions. The initiative is designed to drive innovation and strengthen India’s aerospace sector through structured industry engagement.

“This collaboration will link early-stage innovators with seasoned industry players in a systematic way, promoting entrepreneurship and contributing to India’s self-reliance in aerospace technology,” said Madan Padaki, President of TiE Bangalore and trustee at TiE Global.

The joint effort seeks to address the innovation gap by providing startups with access to mentorship, technical expertise, and market opportunities within the aerospace field. The model will also encourage corporate involvement in nurturing and scaling high-potential ventures.

TiE Bangalore and AIA plan to formalise the partnership in the coming month, with a pilot program to follow soon after. The pilot will serve as a testbed to demonstrate how startups can deliver solutions to real-world challenges faced by aerospace companies.

“Aerospace innovation needs speed and precision. This platform will provide a reliable framework for startups to engage meaningfully with the sector and scale their impact through investment and support from AIA member companies,” said F R Singhvi, President of AIA. The collaboration is positioned to become a repeatable model for industry-startup partnerships across other advanced sectors as well.
