TechnipFMC (NYSE: FTI) has received a major integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (iEPCI™) contract from Eni SpA (ENI.MI) for the Maha deepwater project offshore Indonesia. This development marks Eni’s first use of TechnipFMC’s Subsea 2.0® configure-to-order technology in the country.

The contract builds on the companies’ track record of successful collaborations in the region, including work on the Jangkrik and Merakes projects. The Maha field will be connected to the existing Jangkrik Floating Production Unit.

Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC, said the project represents another opportunity to deploy the company’s integrated delivery approach, strengthened by its configurable product platform. He added that the Maha project will deepen TechnipFMC’s partnership with Eni while improving schedule certainty through the use of Subsea 2.0® systems and integrated execution. Under the contract, TechnipFMC will design and manufacture Subsea 2.0® tree systems, flexible flowlines, a manifold, and control systems, along with overseeing the installation of the entire subsea production system.
