Teadit has introduced iQuote, a new online pricing and customer service portal designed to give industrial gasket and sealing-product customers faster access to pricing, inventory information and product documentation. The platform is available around the clock and allows customers and distribution partners to obtain product prices, check stock levels, review previous orders and access quality documents without having to wait for assistance from a sales representative. Designed for easy access across devices, iQuote can be used on smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
The portal covers a wide range of Teadit’s sealing products, including sheet materials, cut gaskets, spiral wound gaskets, kammprofile and corrugated metal gaskets, double-jacketed gaskets, Electron isolation kits, tapes, joint sealants and compression packing.
Customers can configure products according to their specific requirements by selecting dimensions, thickness, material, style and other specifications. The system then provides pricing for the selected configuration. Standard gasket dimensions are based on applicable ASME standards, including ASME B16.20 for metallic and semi-metallic gaskets and ASME B16.21 for cut gaskets designed for ASME B16.5 and B16.47 Series A and Series B flanges.
iQuote also provides access to important quality and technical documentation. Customers can retrieve material test reports, certificates of conformance and positive material identification reports, with documents organized according to sales order and individual line items. The portal includes technical data sheets, safety data sheets, torque tables and gasket diagrams, enabling customers to access product and application information alongside pricing and availability.
Robbie Riggs, President and CEO of Teadit North America, said the company developed iQuote to make it easier for customers to conduct routine business and obtain information when they need it. He added that Teadit’s sales and technical teams remain available when customers require application-specific guidance or a more detailed discussion.
Josmar Cristello, Software Engineering Manager at Teadit, said the platform was designed around the need for customers to quickly obtain information without having to navigate a complicated system. The objective, he said, was to provide pricing, inventory and previous-order documentation in a simple and direct manner.
iQuote is available at no additional cost to verified Teadit customers and distribution partners. Companies can register multiple employees, with each user receiving an individual account. The launch strengthens Teadit’s digital customer-service capabilities and provides industrial buyers with a single online resource for product selection, pricing, availability and documentation.
