Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has unveiled TCS Pace Port™ São Paulo, an AI-powered research and innovation center located at Insper’s Vila Olímpia campus. Spanning over 1,000 square meters, the new hub will serve as a collaborative ecosystem where customers, startups, academia, and industry partners unite to co-create transformative solutions powered by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The center aims to accelerate innovation, business transformation, and sustainable impact across Brazil and Latin America.
The launch of Pace Port São Paulo extends TCS’ global innovation network, which already includes centers in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Singapore, and Japan. Through a partnership with Insper, one of Brazil’s leading academic institutions, the center brings together world-class research, engineering talent, and practical business applications to address regional challenges and foster inclusive growth. Insper now joins TCS’ global innovation ecosystem, which includes prestigious academic partners like MIT, Cornell University, and Imperial College London.
According to Guilherme Martins, President of Insper, the partnership will create new opportunities for collaboration, research, and skill development “This centre with TCS allows our community to innovate and tackle complex problems that drive meaningful progress for Brazil and Latin America.”
The hub will host experts in AI, cybersecurity, robotics, and design thinking, alongside a team of researchers and developers linked to TCS’ global innovation network. The space integrates TCS Pace™ methodologies and dedicated labs for prototyping, enabling customers to co-innovate and develop functional solutions rapidly. The collaboration will also connect with TCS Academy and the TCS Co-Innovation Network™ (COIN™) — a global platform linking academia, startups, and enterprises to accelerate discovery and product development.
Dr Harrick Vin, Chief Technology Officer at TCS, emphasized the company’s commitment to Brazil’s innovation landscape “With the launch of TCS Pace Port™ São Paulo, we bring our global research and innovation ecosystem to Latin America. Partnering with Insper enables us to leverage the region’s academic and industrial strengths, helping our clients co-create sustainable, technology-driven growth.”
Bruno Rocha, Country Head, TCS Brazil, added “Innovation must be at the core of every business strategy. Through this new center, we’re deepening our ability to translate advanced technologies into real business value, building stronger partnerships with our clients, and ensuring they remain ahead in an era of digital transformation.”
