The company, which operates brands including URBAN, Inbase, Arrow, Willsun, and iPak, is accelerating its growth strategy with a stronger focus on distribution expansion, partner ecosystem development, and category diversification.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several industry leaders and business representatives, including Kailash Lakhyani, who served as the chief guest for the event. Other guests included Manish Singhi, Ashok Surana, and Mahesh Subramaniyan.
With more than two decades in the Indian technology and distribution industry, Sunshine Telelink has steadily expanded its operations across smart wearables, mobile accessories, and lifestyle electronics. The company currently operates through a retail footprint of more than 15,000 counters across India while also maintaining a presence in select international markets.
Sunshine Telelink began its journey with a retail outlet named Mobile Link before expanding into multiple consumer technology categories through brands such as Willsun, Inbase, and URBAN. Over the years, the company has strengthened its position in the smart wearables and mobile accessories market by focusing on innovation, product accessibility, and retail partnerships. The company stated that the new Chennai corporate office has been established to support expanding operations and create a stronger foundation for future business growth across southern India and other regional markets.
Aashish Kumbhat said the new office represents the company’s long-term vision of building a stronger and more connected ecosystem for partners, distributors, and consumers. He added that the company’s focus remains on expanding its distribution reach, strengthening its product portfolio, and building sustainable partnerships to support future growth across multiple lifestyle technology categories.
Looking ahead, Sunshine Telelink plans to significantly scale its distribution ecosystem with a target of building a network of over 1,000 distributors by 2027–2028. The company also intends to deepen its presence in emerging lifestyle technology segments driven by consumer demand for connected devices and smart electronics.
