STL [NSE: STLTECH], a connectivity solutions provider for digital infrastructure, has expanded its Neuralis Data Center portfolio with pre-terminated fiber trunk assemblies designed for hyperscale and enterprise data centers. The new portfolio covers fiber counts from 48F to 6912F and is designed to support the rising bandwidth requirements of artificial intelligence, cloud computing and high-performance computing applications. The portfolio includes Indoor Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunk Assemblies from 48F to 576F and Indoor/Outdoor Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunk Assemblies from 144F to 6912F.
As data centers increase their processing and storage capacity, operators need to install more fiber within existing ducts, trays and conduits while reducing installation time. STL’s pre-terminated assemblies are factory terminated and tested before delivery, allowing operators to connect the assemblies directly during installation.
The assemblies combine high fiber density with compact cable designs. This allows more capacity to be routed through existing pathways while maintaining bend performance and reliability. The Indoor Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunk Assemblies are designed for high-density MMC, MPO and LC terminations within data halls. They comply with ANSI/ICEA S-83-596 and UL OFNP plenum and OFNR riser cable standards. Cable diameters range from 5.8 mm for 48F assemblies to 12.2 mm for 576F assemblies.
The Indoor/Outdoor portfolio covers 144F to 6912F and is designed for campus, inter-building and inter-row connections. The 6912F assembly has an outer diameter of 32.0 mm and is available with OFNR/LSZH jacketing and UL 1651-rated sunlight resistance for outdoor applications.
The assemblies are available with MMC, MTP/MPO and LC connectors in Base-8, Base-12, Base-16 and Base-24 configurations. Customers can also select single-mode ITU-T G.657.A2 fiber in 200 µm or 250 µm formats for bend-sensitive installations, while indoor assemblies are also available in OM4 multimode fiber for shorter-distance links.
Both portfolios use STL’s patented IBR rollable ribbon technology and colour-coded bonded ribbon design to support faster identification and splicing. Every assembly is 100% factory tested, with Ultra Low Loss connector performance grades available for applications requiring higher optical performance.
“Every data center customer we work with is trying to solve the same equation – more capacity, less time. That’s exactly what this extension of Neuralis portfolio is built around. Our Pre-Terminated Trunk Assemblies are designed for dense networks, they are pre-tested, ready to connect on arrival, and flexible. This is connectivity built for how data centers are actually being constructed today; high density, tight timelines, zero room for error,” said Dr Badri Gomatam, CTO, STL.
