Sterling Tools Limited, a prominent manufacturer of automotive components, announced that its subsidiary, Sterling Gtake, has been renamed Sterling E-Mobility Solutions Limited. The rebranding marks a major step in the company’s evolution into a complete solutions provider for electric vehicle (EV) powertrains and power electronics. This strategic shift highlights Sterling’s growing expertise in e-mobility technologies and its continued commitment to driving India’s sustainable mobility transformation.
Speaking on the development, Anil Aggarwal, Chairman, Sterling Tools Limited, said, “The transition to Sterling E-Mobility Solutions Limited represents our deepened focus on delivering integrated EV technologies built on global collaboration and local innovation. Our strong partnership with Gtake continues, and we look forward to expanding our network of technology alliances to further strengthen our position in the electric mobility ecosystem. We are grateful to our customers and partners for their trust as we move forward together toward an electrified future.”
Earlier this year, Sterling signed a technology licensing agreement with Advanced Electric Machines (AEM), UK, to produce magnet-free motors in India. In September 2025, the company entered into a partnership with Landworld Technology Co Ltd, China, to introduce a range of on-board chargers and DC/DC converters. These alliances form part of Sterling’s broader plan to deliver high-performance, locally manufactured solutions designed specifically for the Indian EV market.
Sterling’s exclusive collaboration with Jiangsu Gtake Electric Co, Ltd remains unchanged, with several localized products being jointly developed for domestic applications. Going forward, Sterling’s product lines will showcase co-branded technologies from its partners—Gtake, AEM, and Landworld—demonstrating the company’s commitment to transparency, innovation, and customer value.
