Hero MotoCorp, the world’s leading producer of two-wheelers, has officially entered the Italian market—its 49th global destination—marking a major step in the company’s international growth strategy. The launch was formalized on October 13, 2025, at a signing event held in Dubai. With over 125 million customers worldwide and two R&D hubs in Germany and India, Hero is positioning itself to meet modern mobility demands through smart, sustainable vehicles tailored to riders around the globe.

In Italy, Hero MotoCorp’s operations will be supported by Pelpi International, a major player in the local two-wheeler market. Pelpi will oversee distribution, sales, after-sales service, and spare parts through a nationwide network of over 160 dealers, beginning with 36 key locations and scaling up to more than 50.

To mark its debut, Hero is introducing three key models: the Xpulse 200 4V, Xpulse 200 4V Pro, and the Hunk 440. Each model is designed to reflect Hero’s brand message of “Limitless Freedom”, encouraging riders to explore their world with confidence and independence.

The Hunk 440, aimed at the L3e-A2 segment, is a robust street bike built for everyday commuting and highway performance. It delivers 27 BHP and 36 Nm of torque, supported by a Euro 5+ compliant engine, steel trellis frame, and features like dual-channel ABS, USD front forks by KYB, full TFT digital cluster, turn-by-turn navigation, LED lighting, and wide radial tires. It’s priced at €3,990 (VAT included) and comes in Twilight Blue and Phantom Black.

The Xpulse 200 series is engineered for adventure seekers. The base Xpulse 200 4V and top-spec Xpulse 200 4V Pro combine off-road durability with city-ready features. The Pro version includes a powerful 18.9 BHP engine, selectable ABS modes (Road, Off-Road, Rally), digital LCD display with navigation, LED projector headlamp, and long-travel suspension for tackling rough European terrains. Pricing starts at €2,990 for the standard variant and €3,190 for the Pro. Color options include Matte Nexus Blue for the base model and Pearl Fadeless White for the Pro.

To reinforce its promise of quality, Hero MotoCorp is offering a 5-year warranty—3 years standard, plus an additional 2 years as part of the introductory package (terms and conditions apply).

Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President at Hero MotoCorp, called the move into Italy a landmark moment “Italy is one of the world’s most iconic two-wheeler markets. This entry underlines our global ambition to lead the future of mobility. We’re bringing performance, value, and a passion for exploration—values shared by millions of riders.”

Cesare Galli, Managing Director of Pelpi International, added “Hero’s arrival is a game-changer. With their international experience, advanced engineering, and long-term warranty, Italian customers now have access to exciting new options that combine innovation with affordability.”

With this launch, Hero MotoCorp continues to extend its global presence, offering products that combine rugged performance with cutting-edge technology, and tailored for both urban commuters and adventure riders.
