A seasoned manufacturing and operations leader with more than 52 years of industry experience, Mr Singh steps into the role after serving as Consultant – Vice President, Operations at Smarten. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in strengthening operational processes, improving manufacturing efficiency, and supporting strategic business initiatives.

As COO, Mr. Singh will oversee manufacturing, supply chain management, quality systems, operational strategy, and execution across the organization. He directed the complete transfer of manufacturing operations, establishing systems, processes, and teams that enabled stable in-house production. With this milestone completed, he will now lead operations across the company’s existing facilities while driving the commissioning of Smarten’s upcoming manufacturing plant.

Commenting on the appointment, Rajnish Sharma, Whole Time Director and Chief Executive Officer, Smarten Power Systems, said, “As Smarten continues its growth journey, strengthening operational leadership remains a strategic priority. His deep industry expertise, execution-focused approach, and understanding of our business make him the right leader to drive the next phase of operational excellence and support our long-term growth plans.”

Speaking on his new role, Ranjit Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Smarten Power Systems, said, “I am pleased to take on this responsibility at an important stage in the company’s evolution. My focus will be on enhancing manufacturing capabilities, strengthening quality systems, improving supply chain efficiency, and building scalable operational processes that support innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.”
