SEIL Energy India Limited has received 17 awards, including the Best Organisation Award, at the Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC) 2026 organised by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Tirupati Chapter. The company received seven Gold Awards and two Silver Awards as part of the recognition.
The convention was held under the theme “Leading with Quality for Sustainable Growth and Self-Reliance.” It provided a platform for organisations to present initiatives aimed at improving workplace practices, process efficiency and quality management.
SEIL Energy presented five case studies on Quality Concepts and four Kaizen projects at the event. The initiatives focused on improving operational processes, encouraging employee participation and identifying practical ways to strengthen efficiency across the organisation.
Ouseph Antony, Head of Human Resources at SEIL Energy, represented the company at the convention along with members of its team and received the awards. Janmejaya Mahapatra, CEO of SEIL Energy India Limited, said quality was an integral part of the company’s operating philosophy and depended on consistent improvements in everyday work.
He said the recognition highlighted the role of Quality Concepts, Kaizen and 5S practices in supporting operational performance. He added that continuous improvement was a shared responsibility across the organisation and an important part of its approach to sustainable growth.
The 5S methodology focuses on workplace organisation and standardisation. When applied alongside Quality Concepts and Kaizen, it can help organisations identify inefficiencies, improve working practices and encourage employees to contribute to process improvements.
SEIL Energy said it continues to promote these practices across its operations, with an emphasis on employee involvement, process efficiency and consistent quality standards. The company’s participation in the convention also provided an opportunity to share its improvement initiatives with other organisations.
