Schneider Electric has launched Unica Pure+, a new range of fully flat switches designed for contemporary Indian homes. The company has introduced the range as part of its festive-season campaign, ‘Pure Design, Pure Delight’, which focuses on the role of everyday details in home interiors. The launch comes during the festive season, when consumers traditionally undertake home renovations, interior upgrades and other changes to their living spaces. Schneider Electric said Unica Pure+ combines a flat, uninterrupted design with functionality and compatibility with smart-home systems.
The campaign is centred on a brand film that presents the switch through a family gathering. In the film, a child repeatedly asks family members to operate the fan, lights and Wi-Fi, drawn by the feel and appearance of the new flat switch. The campaign uses this everyday interaction to highlight the design of Unica Pure+ and its role as part of a home’s interiors.
Ratnesh Pandey, Vice President, Marketing, Schneider Electric India, said, “The festive season is a time when every home feels a little more special. At Schneider Electric, we believe great design can make those moments even more meaningful. With Unica Pure+, we wanted to give families a switch that quietly lifts a space and brings a little more pride to everyday living. ‘Pure Design, Pure Delight’ is about celebrating how the finest details can make a house feel like home.”
Unica Pure+ features a fully flat profile designed to integrate with walls and complement different interior styles. The range is available in Silver Bronze, Polar White, Volcanic Grey and Warm Grey. Schneider Electric said the product is suitable for applications including luxury residences, boutique hotels and premium workspaces.
The switches are designed for regular everyday use and have an electrical life of more than one lakh clicks. The product combines the flat design with durability for long-term use. Unica Pure+ is also compatible with Schneider Electric’s Wiser Home Automation range. This allows homeowners to combine the physical switch range with connected-home features and build smart-home applications according to their requirements.
The ‘Pure Design, Pure Delight’ campaign will be promoted through out-of-home advertising, OTT platforms, digital media, retail, below-the-line activities and e-commerce channels during the festive home-upgrade period. Schneider Electric said the new range is intended to offer consumers another option for integrating design and technology into everyday home infrastructure.
Schneider Electric operates across energy management and industrial automation, providing technologies for buildings, data centres, factories, infrastructure, grids and homes. The company has around 160,000 employees and one million partners across more than 100 countries.
