Advent, a global private equity firm, has completed the sale of ERIKS UK & Ireland to Rubix Group, Europe’s leading provider of industrial maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) products and services. The transaction forms part of a broader deal that also includes the sale of a minority ownership interest in Rubix.

The combination unites two highly specialized industrial distribution businesses, broadening the range of products and services available to customers while enhancing Rubix’s expertise in flow technology. The acquisition supports Advent’s objective of strengthening the UK’s industrial ecosystem by expanding Rubix’s operational scale and reinforcing its leadership position. Following the transaction, the combined business is expected to generate annual revenues exceeding €850 million.

As part of the deal, Neuberger Berman Private Markets led the investment in the minority equity stake in Rubix. Additional institutional investors participating in the transaction include Adams Street Partners, LGT Capital Partners, J. Safra Sarasin Asset Management, and funds and accounts managed by BlackRock. Advent will retain its role as the controlling shareholder in Rubix and will continue to support the company’s expansion strategy throughout Europe.

Shonnel Malani, Managing Partner at Advent, commented, “This transaction reflects our continued commitment to supporting the UK’s industrial sector through strategic investments that enhance scale and capability. Welcoming new long-term partners underscores the confidence in Rubix’s leadership team and growth trajectory. Together, we are well positioned to drive the next phase of development across the European industrial distribution market.”
