RHI Magnesita India Ltd, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-grade refractory products, systems and solutions, has announced a leadership transition with the appointment of Pankaj Malhan as the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2026.
The Board of Directors also confirmed that Parmod Sagar, who has been serving as Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, will continue to lead the Board as Chairman, ensuring continuity in the company’s strategic direction while supporting the next phase of growth. Pankaj Malhan brings more than three decades of leadership experience across the steel, manufacturing, industrial materials and infrastructure sectors. Over the course of his career, he has led large organisations through business expansion, operational transformation, productivity enhancement and long-term value creation. His experience in managing complex industrial businesses is expected to strengthen RHI Magnesita India’s position in a rapidly evolving market.

The leadership transition comes as RHI Magnesita India continues to strengthen its position in the refractory industry by expanding manufacturing capabilities, investing in technology and enhancing customer-focused solutions. RHI Magnesita India manufactures refractory products essential for high-temperature industrial processes exceeding 1,200 degrees Celsius across sectors including steel, iron, cement, non-ferrous metals and glass.
