Revolt Motors, India’s leading electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Roy Kurian as its new President. With over 30 years of leadership across the automotive and electric mobility industries, Mr Kurian’s extensive experience will play a pivotal role in driving Revolt’s next phase of growth, innovation, and market expansion.
Mr Kurian is a veteran business leader known for building strong brands, executing successful turnarounds, and delivering consistent growth. Over the span of 31 years, he has held key positions at Montra Electric, Greaves Electric Mobility (Ampere), Baxy Mobility, and Tork Motors, where he contributed significantly to EV product strategy, network expansion, and brand development.
A defining highlight of his career was his tenure at Yamaha Motor India, where, as Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, he led a major transformation, increasing sales from two lakh units in 2010 to over one million units by 2016. This remarkable turnaround reestablished Yamaha as a strong contender in India’s two-wheeler segment.

Mr Kurian holds a BBA from the Bhopal School of Social Sciences, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Safia College, Bhopal, and has completed Global Executive Programs in Japan.
