Renault India, a fully owned subsidiary of the French automaker Renault Group, has reported strong wholesale sales of 4,672 units for October 2025, reflecting a significant 21% year-on-year increase compared to 3,861 units sold in October 2024. The impressive growth was driven by the successful introduction of the new Triber and Kiger models, as well as the positive effects of the GST 2.0 reforms. Renault’s performance outpaced the overall industry growth, which stood at 17.3% for the same period.
Additionally, the company saw a 9.54% sequential increase in sales from September 2025, when it sold 4,265 units. Capitalizing on the festive season, Renault also recorded a significant uptick in dealership traffic nationwide. The heightened interest in its refreshed vehicle lineup translated into a retail sales figure of 5,041 units in October 2025, based on VAHAN registration data, marking a 12.7% growth compared to the previous year.
Commenting on the sales performance, Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Renault India, said, “October was a standout month for us, driven by exceptional customer response to the newly launched Triber and Kiger. These models have resonated well with customers in both urban and rural areas, reflecting renewed consumer confidence and strong demand during the festive period. We’re optimistic that this momentum will continue in the months to come.”
