Renault India has introduced the upgraded Renault Triber 2026, bringing new features and improved comfort to the compact family vehicle segment. The latest version focuses on enhancing convenience, practicality, and overall in-cabin experience while maintaining competitive pricing.
The updated Triber introduces several segment-first additions, including automatic climate control and a one-touch fold-and-tumble function for the second-row seats, allowing easier access to the third row. The second-row seats can now fully fold down, expanding boot space up to 1,065 litres, positioning it among the most spacious offerings in its category.
Inside, the vehicle features a refreshed dual-tone dashboard with a floating 20.32 cm touchscreen, designed to offer a more contemporary cabin environment. The model continues to emphasize modularity with flexible 5-, 6-, and 7-seater configurations, catering to varied family and travel requirements.
The Triber 2026 is available in four variants—Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion—with pricing ranging from ₹5.80 lakh to ₹8.00 lakh (ex-showroom). Renault has also introduced additional features across mid and higher trims to enhance value.
The Evolution variant now includes steering-mounted controls and adjustable interior rear-view mirrors, while the Techno variant adds features such as a driver armrest, height-adjustable seat, rear defogger, additional charging options, and electrically foldable ORVMs. The top-end Emotion variant comes equipped with automatic climate control for improved passenger comfort.
Francisco Hidalgo Marques, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Renault India, stated that the updated model builds on the Triber’s positioning as a practical and family-oriented vehicle. He noted that the addition of new features aims to improve ease of use and overall comfort, while maintaining accessibility for a wide range of customers.
Safety continues to be a key focus, with the Triber 2026 offering a comprehensive package of 21 standard safety features. These include airbags, anti-lock braking systems with electronic brakeforce distribution, tyre pressure monitoring, and electronic stability control, among others.
Powered to deliver reliable performance for urban and highway driving, the vehicle is designed to balance efficiency with everyday usability. Since its introduction, the Triber has gained a strong customer base in India, with over 200,000 units on the road, and continues to contribute significantly to Renault’s presence in the market.
